Georgia, Oh Georgia
Already September and so far no 2025 road trip. I'm afraid this years trip has had to be curtailed due to health concerns (I'm just getting too old for these activities), however, I now have the green light to proceed with a late run!
Previous proposal was to re-visit Ukraine and then proceed around the Black Sea to Georgia, both destinations suffering from the unwanted and illegal aggression of the Putin Government. So given that most of the summer weather has gone, and I don't do "cold", then I only have time to go to Georgia.
I have renewed much of Bridgets' interior trim which was weathering badly. The walnut trim for example was bleached almost white by the sun over the past 18 years since it was first installed. Mechanically, she appears to be in good running order; hopefully not famous last words!
So the plan is to leave next Wednesday, 10th September 2025 and we will make our way via Europe...
